UPDATE: SPDR S&P 500 ETF hits year-high 33rd time in three months
SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:SPY), the largest Exchange Traded Fund by market cap in the United States, hit a 52-week high of $US331.82 during the day. In the last three months the ETF has hit a new 52-week high thirty-three times, pointing to a significant uptrend. The ETF price has increased $US1.58 (or 0.5%) from its last trading session of January 16 to close at $US331.53 The ETF advanced for a fifth consecutive day on Friday.
